Am Institut für Analysis sind drei Arbeitsgruppen und drei Nachwuchsgruppen angesiedelt. Die Forschungsschwerpunkte des Instituts sind qualitative Eigenschaften von Evolutionsgleichungen und ihrer stationären oder wellenartigen Lösungen, Mathematische Physik, Spektraltheorie, harmonische Analysis, Variationsmethoden, geometrische Analysis, stochastische Analysis und computerunterstützte Beweise.
