Harmonic analysis and Schrödinger equations on the Heisenberg group
If you take an odd-dimensional Euclidean space and make addition satisfy the Heisenberg commutation relation, you get the Heisenberg group. In this talk I will give some highlights on what similarities and differences one finds when studying harmonic analysis and in particular regularity properties of the Schrödinger equation on this group. The non-commutativity makes many things more complicated, but we shall also see that several of the general ideas of Euclidean space carry over to this setting.
